I speak very broken Urdu and honestly these classes have given me the confidence to try and speak my mother tongue not only at home but when the opportunity arises outside. The classes are brilliant and I am genuinely able to have a laugh with my teacher and also learn. She’s truly catered to my needs and she celebrates all my small wins and helps motivate me when I don’t think I can do it. I would honestly recommend my teacher to anyone that is trying to better their Urdu skills, whether it’s reading or conversational. Can’t wait for my next lesson! 🩷

Ustaad is a fantastic teacher and he has done a great job customizing lessons to match my learning needs and goals. I have chosen to learn Punjabi through songs/spiritual writings, and so far, he has picked perfect songs for me to learn from.

Teacher has nice powerpoint and explain to me very clearly and accurately. I am interested in learning Urdu in the long term. Thus, teacher has good english which has presented it in a enjoyable way. Thank you teacher, hope to meet you in the next lesson.

It was a very good class. Revised "mujhe" in conjunction with "chahiye" and "pasand" - expressing wishes & likes/dislikes. The lesson provided plenty of opportunities of speaking around the familiar topics of family, food & drinks, shopping, celebrations and plans for the near future. The teacher was, as always, very supportive and encouraging and provided appropriate assistance and corrections when necessary while promoting independent responses and sentence building. Discussed plans for the next week including revision of the tenses.

Teacher Zarqa is absolutely good, she understands what u need and teaches u basic urdu words before proceeding with any other subjects and provides examples so that u can learn better! Thank you, love the short trial session! :)

Through the first class, I can know that she is a very professional teacher. The content of the textbook is very complete, which left a deep impression on me. And she will let me use the vocabulary I just learned for oral practice, and carefully guide me to learn how to say it by myself, she is really awesome!

I've taken a few classes with Mehwish and highly recommend her! She customizes the class for what you want, whether it's grammer, vocabulary, converstional phrases or all of the above. I currently take two 30-minute classes with her a week and it's a good pace for me, though I think most people take and prefer 1-hour classes. She shares a lot of information in the class as well as the notes afterwards so you can practice. Any question I've had, Mehwish has been very helpful in answering and she's also great at helping to correct my pronunciation, which I definitely struggle with. I look forward to taking more classes with Mehwish and continuing to learn Urdu!

Gives helpful homework. Gives so many examples. Great teacher. You need to have her as your teacher you will learn so fast! Book her she is the best! you will not regret it! Best decision i made for my urdu education.

Everytime finished the lesson, I feel so happy because Ms. Sidra always teach me new words, new formula. And a lot of practice together that's make me more confident to talk Urdu ( a foreign language for me). Bahut Shukriya 🌹

We had a fun lesson discussing an essay on Gandhi and learning culturally-specific phrases and terms. I benefit so much more from private lessons with Asad than I would by using a textbook or traditional class.

A great lesson. Revised general vocabulary and sentences during the entry quiz; Then covered possessive supplements KA, KI, KE. Learned how to use them in sentences to describe ownership, time and location + match the gender of the nouns correctly. Had many opportunities to practice speaking.
