Taking a class with me, you will: 💪 improve your speaking, listening, reading or writing confidence for casual, travel, business or academia 💪engage in interesting conversations, role play, games and more. 💪be given a course tailored to what you need and what you find interesting, so you don't need to worry about getting bored. 💪be given suggested tasks that you can complete between classes that will help you to build on what we do in class. I teach with a smile and with kind, useful feedback. I won't pull you up on every little mistake, but I will give you constructive advice on how to take your English to the next level (and the level beyond that!) ✒️Adult Conversation (beginners to advanced English speakers) ❗️Free flowing conversation that allows you to speak freely without being stopped every 2 minutes for corrections. ❗️Your course, your choice! I will suggest topics for us to discuss, but if you want to talk about something different go ahead. I can adapt to pretty much anything and if I don’t know much about that subject, you can teach me! ❗️At least 15 minutes of practice using games and role-play. This will allow me to help you improve where you need, and focus your efforts on making useful changes to your English. ✒️Adult Business English (upper intermediate level English and above) ❗️Role-play based classes that will allow you to practice business meetings, sales calls and more in English. ❗️We will focus on using business-appropriate language and developing vocabulary relevant to your industry. ❗️Develop your resume/CV, cover letter and interview skills to improve your chances of landing that dream job. ✒️Adult Academic Writing (advanced English speakers) ❗️I will not write your thesis/paper for you! I will work with you to help you improve word choice and sentence structure to make your writing clearer and more precise. That way you will rely less and less on me (or other external tools) and learn to use your own judgement to improve your writing. ❗️I will help you learn to proof-read your documents and find grammar mistakes or unclear language. ❗I can also help to develop your public speaking and slideshow making skills for when you need to do presentations. 🤡Story time and action songs (children aged 4 to 6, 25 minutes per class) 📖 I will read stories to children and encourage them to interact with me by asking them questions about the book. Choose your kids’ favourite books, or let me choose from my library of British books. 🎵 We will learn to sing and act out well-known children’s songs that will help your child build their vocabulary and confidence in English. 😻Please note, this class is intended for children who can already speak some English, not as a beginner class. I will also ask parents to prepare some materials before the class (for example toys, books clothes etc). And more... If you don’t see what you are looking for, please message me and ask. I have lots of experience with learners of all ages and requirements. If you have a clear goal in mind, and are willing to work with me, I will probably be able to develop a course that suits you. But not always...If I don’t feel like I would be the best teacher to give you what you need I will let you know so you can keep searching and achieve your goal. The class will be tailored around your needs and interests, so please be prepared to answer some questions about what you need, what you like and what you want to achieve with English. If you need to cancel a class, please let your teacher know at least 12 hours before the scheduled start time.
