Greetings there :) My name is Hope I live in the wonderful country of South Africa, in a city called Port Elizabeth to be exact. I am pursuing my law degree. I tutor high school students and teach English online in my spare time. I am a humanitarian at heart. Teaching English together with volunteering for various organisations is where I find great pleasure for I am doing good for mankind. I enjoy real-life conversation and I like to get to know people from different walks of life. I believe you can learn more from people than any book can. I have various pen pals so I Have a vast knowledge of different cultures and tradition. I am also a published writer with my short stories being published in various print and online publications so I may be of great use if you would like help in essay writing and other forms of writing. I have a great experience with high school and primary school students and helping out with homework is one of my specialities. How do I teach? I understand that different types of learners are visual learners, auditory learners among others. Thus I implement teaching methods that are friendly to every type of learner. I am goal orientated and when we commence learning we set our goals and refer to these goals every lesson. This does not mean our lessons will be serious throughout I do stand-up comedy and improv sessions in my spare time so I will make use of these skills in our lessons. I am a well connected with news and social culture so our conversations will be lively and with substance. As we get to know each other I will make the lessons more focused on you. We will also be corresponding outside the classroom and try to bridge the gaps between our cultures. To me, you are a friend and I want you to succeed in whatever you are embarking on. My hobbies are : Listening to any type of music Reading novels Writing Watching sports, news and documentaries Volunteering for humanitarian organisations Advocating for road safety Maybe we have common interests or you want to know about my interests it does not matter all I guarantee you we will have a blast while getting our required results. I take all types of calls that is, audio and visual. I also make use of social media to finish my lessons to reach our goals at the required time.
