Ms. Kim Yejin is a highly-qualified private tutor and teacher whose extensive background in Korean language education will help you achieve your intended goals, whether they’d be in listening, speaking, writing and / or reading in Korean. my confidence in using Korean in a day-to-day capacity has greatly improved. Ms. Kim is very competent in teaching the fundamentals of the language - sentence structure, commonly-used vocabulary, basic expressions - and I attribute much of this competency to her years as a Korean teacher in a classroom setting. Her attentiveness to my learning needs, as well as her ability to address areas for improvement can also be attributed to her prior experience as a teacher. During my time with Ms. Kim, I was most impressed by her professionalism, composure and patience. She was always very prompt with her responses when I needed to make scheduling adjustments. Moreover, Ms. Kim always came to class prepared with learning materials and digital tools as needed. She was very patient with me when it came to hard-to-grasp grammatical principles and she took the time to provide clarification using examples tailored to my level. I also very much enjoyed my many conversations with Ms. Kim, which gave me ample opportunity to practice my speaking skills. She was very receptive to my open-ended questions about Korean life and culture, as well as, we discussed current events on a regular basis, all in Korean of course! Equally important, Ms. Kim made sure that every class tailored to my goals with the language and customized learning materials as needed to encompass my interests. For example, she prepared a glossary of military terms and slang to prepare for my life as a conscript in the military. It was quite obvious that Ms. Kim had used a variety of resources to include as many terms and slang as she did into the glossary. I was not only impressed but moved by Ms. Kim’s dedication to her students. I highly recommend Ms. Kim Yejin to anyone seeking a Korean language instructor. She’s very passionate about this field and for all her students.

Teacher Yejin is very friendly and passionate about teaching. She is so patient with me as I cannot speak fluent Korean. On the other hand, teacher Yejin will try her best to correct almost every sentence after I speak. This is really very useful for me as I can pick up the language in a shorter time. She will engage you to speak Korean throughout the whole lesson. Do not worry if you are yet to speak Korean fluently, she is the one who can guide you and help you to overcome it.
