My teaching style can best be described as interactive, supportive, and transparent. I encourage my students to have a voice in the classroom, ask questions when they come up, and participate actively in all conversations regardless of their level of confidence. I have put a lot of thought into the ways that I want my teaching style to be formed. I want to be the type of teacher that has a fun classroom environment where mistakes and questions are encouraged just as often as researched statements. I speak as much as possible in French to get them used to the language. I also speak clearly and even slowly depending on my students proficiency level. We all learn best when we have wiggle room for error. I want to provide my students with security and confidence when they speak French. I also use my own custom-made materials for pronunciation, grammar, ready. I know that for many people learning French can be a bit complicated due to grammar and pronunciation, but I assure you that together we will have a favorable environment for learning. I try to speak French through most of the class and I do it as clearly as possible so that my students get used to the language. I use multimedia resources such as videos, exercises, photos, etc. to enrich the vocabulary of my students, many of which I have designed myself. I like my classes to have fluent and fun conversations in which my students can feel free to talk about whatever they want. My way of teaching focuses on determining the most appropriate method for each student's learning style (visual, auditory, creative, etc.), adapting my lessons according to their needs.
