I am a motivated and enthusiastic teacher, and I love to transmit my passion for languages to my students. My lessons are active and interactive, with as much use of authentic material and as much conversation as possible, and are taylored to the individual needs and wishes of my students. From kids to adults, I like to create lessons where the language is used, not only learnt. Furthermore, a 168 hours accredited TEFL course has equipped me with all of the methodological tools necessary to teach a foreign language with modern approaches, focussing on the usefulness of the topics learnt and on improving the ability and the confidence necessary to communicate. Moreover, I have taken a course in teaching IELTS preparation exams, and I am fully prepared to help students preparing all parts of the test. Furthermore, I have experience in online teaching, especially with Chinese companies and volunteering programmes. Working online has provided me with the knowledge and tools necessary to teach English as a Foreign Language online. Online classes can be as fun, useful and rewarding as face to face classes! Learning a language is hard work, but hey, it's incredibly fulfilling! I've been there myself: I speak four languages, three of which I have had to learn from scratch. I will not only help you with the language, but also share my tips & tricks to keep motivation up and believe in yourself while learning. Something more about me outside teaching: In my free time, I love walking my dog, running on the beach, knitting and making DIY projects. I also like flow arts and cycling! Apart from English, I can speak Italian, German and Thai, to different degrees of fluency.
