I have been teaching children, teens and adults in Germany, UK, and now in the Netherlands. During this time I have developed a very engaging way of teaching. The student is the centre of the lesson, and in our lessons the students will talk from day 1. I approach my lessons with lots of care, empathy, and energy. With younger students I use a communicative method and total physical response (TPR). This method uses physical movement as a reaction to verbal input. This process reduces student inhibitions, lowers stress and increases motivation and responsiveness. Developing both creativity and language skills. I encourage older students to lose the fear of making mistakes, as I sees this as a way forward, mistakes are our teachers!
