If the student chose to have a free talk, I would ask them if they want me to recommend a topic for them or if they would like to talk about something. Asking them if they want me to give them direct corrections or just collate everything and provide them the feedback before the class ends. I take note of (2) grammar corrections and (2) pronunciation corrections. If note noted, I give them tongue twisters and useful expressions that they may use I always depend on the students' learning preferences. I commend my students all the time. I give them useful tips and make sure to ask them if they want to clarify something during the discussion. I create a system of learning. As a teacher, I give them corrections; both grammar and pronunciation, detailed feedback, and pieces of advice as well. I let them monitor themselves so that they can appreciate their own improvement. I give them something to review during their free time. Lastly, we celebrate little victories after classes and that’s the most meaningful part of my class!
